Day 1 - London - Glasgow - City Tour
Departing from central London, we’ll soon be speeding our way to Glasgow in comfort and style aboard our high-speed train. Enjoy the picturesque views as we cross the border and make our way towards Glasgow’s impressive Central Station.
On arrival, check-in to your hotel and your exploration of this fascinating city can begin. The hop-on, hop-off tour included in this package is simply the best way to discover Glasgow.
Explore medieval Glasgow Cathedral, then head to sprawling Glasgow Green to visit the People’s Palace where the social history of Glasgow is told.
Follow the banks of the River Clyde to discover the new Clydeside Distillery, where you can watch the craftsmen at work and taste some exquisite malt whisky.
Victorian Glasgow has left a magnificent legacy of impressive civic buildings. One of the most famous is the Gallery of Modern Art, which spreads over four floors and offers ever-changing displays from Glasgow’s modern art collection.
Outside is a statue of the Duke of Wellington, which is usually adorned with a parking cone. It makes an excellent image for your social media feed!
A short walk away is George Square, the city’s main civic square and home to the ornate City Chambers.
When day turns to night, you will find a wide selection of excellent restaurants catering to all cuisine tastes and a cosmopolitan range of bars and clubs.

Day 2 - Exploring Glasgow - London
After a restful night's sleep, continue your discovery of Glasgow.
Head to the stylish West End to see the Botanical Gardens, Glasgow University and the amazing Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum. The highlights of this recently refurbished collection include impressionist paintings and incredible medieval arms and armour.
Nearby sits the popular Riverside Museum of Transport and Travel, which boasts an extensive collection of cars, trams and trains.
Inside you will also find a reconstruction of a Glasgow street complete with period shops and a cinema. Moored outside is the sailing ship Glenlee, known as The Tall Ship.
Back in the city centre, look out for the Glasgow Mural Trail, an expanding collection of public art created by talented local artists.
Later this afternoon, make your way back to Central Station, where a high-speed train awaits to return you to London. There is no better way to experience the spirit of Glasgow.

What type of room should I choose?
There are different bedrooms types to choose from, here is what you can expect:
Single room - one person sleeping in a single bed
Twin room - two people sleeping in two separate beds
Double room - two people sharing one large bed
Family room - three people sharing a room sleeping in one large bed (2 people) and one single bed (1 person)
Please note that a family room can be a standard double room with either a sofa bed or a rollaway bed.
What are the train times?
Subject to availability we will make a reservation for you on a train departing London (Euston) Station at 07:30 hr (arrival time in Glasgow: 12:01 hrs).
The return journey will depart Glasgow (Central) at 16:40 hrs (arrival time in London (Euston): 21:25 hrs).
Will someone meet me in Scotland?
This is a semi-independent tour, so you will not be met on arrival in Glasgow.
The hotels that are used in this package have been carefully selected to be not only a short walk from the railway station but also convenient for sightseeing and onward travel connections.
