Full Tour Itinerary
Bidding farewell to the Highland capital, our adventure begins beside the famous banks of Loch Ness – remember to keep watch for the elusive monster lurking beneath its icy depths!
Heading west, our surroundings become more rugged as we pass through breathtaking Glen Shiel and gaze at the towering crags of the Five Sisters of Kintail mountain range. These proud peaks in turn give way to mighty sea lochs that once echoed to the splash of Viking oars.
History awaits at our first stop as the unmistakable turrets of Eilean Donan Castle hove into view. Standing grandly at the head of Loch Duich, you’ll have time to explore the battlements made famous by 007 and Highlander.
More myths and legends greet us next as we cross the Skye Bridge to the magical Isle of Skye. Close your eyes and breath in centuries of Highland history before sampling the catch of the day in charming Portree harbour. Suitably refreshed, we then explore the coastline’s many natural wonders, marvelling at Lealt Falls, Kilt Rock and the Old Man of Storr.
Leaving our charming island behind, we take a gentle meander through Glen Carron, pausing only to admire the view across Lochcarron before returning to Inverness.
