Full Tour Itinerary
Leaving Edinburgh behind, we head across the Firth of Forth into the ancient Kingdom of Fife.
We’ll see Pittenweem and St Monans, home to a small fleet of working fishing boats, before stopping in Anstruther, the largest community along this part of the coast.
St Andrews is named after Scotland’s Patron Saint and has a rich heritage.
For golf fans, there will be time for a selfie at the Old Course, where the outcome of many a Championship Game rested on the final putt!
Away from the golf course, you can discover the University, the oldest in Scotland. Walk in the footsteps of William and Kate as you stroll through the grounds to find the flourishing hawthorn bush said to have been planted by Mary, Queen of Scots, in the 1560s.
If you are feeling particularly energetic, why not visit St Andrews Cathedral, where you can climb St Rule’s Tower to enjoy glorious views over the town.
Later our tour continues with a drive over the Lomond Hills where, if time allows, we’ll stop to view Falkland Palace, once a favourite retreat of the Stuart Kings.
The last part of our tour will take us to Loch Leven, where Mary, Queen of Scots, was imprisoned before crossing the Firth of Forth once more.

Took the St Andrews tour and it exceeded my expectations. From the smaller bus size, comfortable seats with chargers, to the friendly driver/guide. Never felt rushed and had a wonderful day. All of the communication before hand was very helpful for an easy day. Highly recommended.

Shug was a great tour guide! He had humorous stories and was a fountain of historical information. We enjoyed all the stops and could have spent even more time in St. Andrew’s.
