Full Tour Itinerary
Starting from Edinburgh’s Old Town, you'll journey north into the heart of Scotland’s central belt. As you pass the iconic Stirling Castle, your guide will regale you with stories of William Wallace and Robert the Bruce.
Your first stop is Callander, known as "The Gateway to the Highlands." Located at the foot of the Trossachs, Callander offers ample opportunities to stock up on refreshments, buy gifts, and enjoy scenic views.
Next travel north through Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park. Your guide will share more about Scotland’s rich history and folklore. Following the routes of James Bond ("Skyfall") and Harry Potter ("Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban"), you'll reach the breathtaking Highland valley of Glencoe, where you'll hear the haunting tale of the 1692 Clan MacDonald massacre.
Passing through Fort William, home to Ben Nevis, the tallest mountain in the British Isles, you'll arrive at Fort Augustus on the south bank of Loch Ness. Here, enjoy lunch in various cafes, shops, and restaurants, then stroll along the Caledonian Canal. An optional one-hour boat cruise on Loch Ness is available, offering a chance to spot the legendary “Nessie.”
Visit the Commando Memorial at Spean Bridge for stunning views of the Nevis Range. Enter Cairngorms National Park, exploring “Monarch of the Glen” country. Travel along Loch Laggan and ascend the dramatic Pass of Drumochter, sculpted by glacial activity. Finally, stop in the charming Victorian town of Pitlochry (or Bankfoot) before returning to Edinburgh, arriving around 8:30 PM.

Each tour is led by an experienced driver/guide who will provide an informative and entertaining commentary in English.
You’ll hear tales of the Clans, bloody battles and the famous characters that have shaped the history of Scotland. You will learn too of the landscape that surrounds you and of the nature that makes Scotland so special.
Be ready to have a laugh as well - you’re bound to be told some really corny jokes!
Tell me more about the optional Loch Ness Cruise?
Mount your very own Nessie adventure by taking a one hour cruise to explore the deep, dark and mysterious waters of Loch Ness.
The cruise boat is equipped with on-board sonar, comfortable seating inside and out as well as toilets.
Refreshments are available for purchase or you can bring packed food.
You can purchase a ticket from your driver/guide on the day of the tour and payment is in cash only.
Will there be stops for meals and are they included in the price of the tour?
Meals are not included in the tour price, but we will make stops where you can get refreshments and something to eat.
If you wish, you can bring a packed lunch or pick up lunch items at a previous stop.
Vegetarian food is widely available.

Would like bus with bathrooms and possibly a screen that interprets what the driver is saying. Driver wonderful and funny and energetic!
