Full Tour Itinerary
Your Highland adventure begins with a drive to Stirling, home to its mighty castle and the towering Wallace Monument.
The first stop is Deanston Distillery, a former cotton mill on the banks of the River Teith. Here, you’ll have the chance to take a guided tour to discover how Scotch Whisky is traditionally made. End your visit with a tutored tasting of Deanston’s premium single-malt whiskies. It’s the perfect way to set yourself up for a day of exploration!
After your distillery experience, travel into the Highlands and drive over the desolate wilderness of Rannoch Moor. This will bring us to spectacular Glen Coe, famed for the infamous massacre in 1692. We’ll make a stop so you can experience the stunning beauty of this remarkable place.
Soon, we’ll be travelling through Fort William, home to the towering peak of Ben Nevis, Britain’s tallest mountain. Here, we enter the Great Glen, which leads us to the highlight of today’s tour - Loch Ness!
Continue your journey to the charming village of Fort Augustus, located at the southern tip of Loch Ness. Take a leisurely stroll along the shores of Loch Ness and enjoy the unique atmosphere of this iconic loch, famous worldwide for the legend of Nessie, the Loch Ness Monster.
After our extended stop at Loch Ness, visit the moving Commando Memorial before enjoying a drive through the natural beauty of the Cairngorms National Park.
The Pass of Drumochter takes us through the Grampian Mountains and onwards to the popular Victorian town of Pitlochry, where we’ll enjoy our last stop of the day.
The final part of our tour will take us through the ancient Kingdom of Fife. As we cross the Firth of Forth, we will enjoy incredible views of the Forth Bridges before our journey ends in central Edinburgh.

Tell me what the visit to a whisky distillery will be like?
A visit to a traditional whisky distillery is a feast for all the senses. After a warm welcome you’ll normally have a short audio/visual presentation on the the history of the distillery and the traditional methods used in the distilling process.
Next is a tour of the distillery where you you will experience all stages of the whisky making process from mashing and fermenting to distilling and maturation.
Your tour will end with a tutored tasting of a malt whisky and the opportunity to buy a souvenir of your visit in the distillery shop.
Will there be a tour commentary?
Each tour is led by an experienced guide who will provide an informative and entertaining commentary in English.
You’ll hear tales of the Clans, bloody battles and the famous characters that have shaped the history of Scotland.
You will learn too of the landscape that surrounds you and of the nature that makes Scotland so special.
Be ready to have a laugh as well - you’re bound to be told some really corny jokes!
I’ve missed my tour because I was late, can I get a refund?
We’re sorry but refunds or credits won’t be issued if you miss your tour because you are not at the departure point on time.
In fairness to all our passengers coaches will not wait if you are late.
